Professor Alun H Davies MA,DM,DSc,FRCS, FHEA,FEBVS, FACPh is Professor of Vascular Surgery at Imperial College London. He trained in Cambridge, Oxford, Plymouth, Boston (USA) and Bristol. He is the Editor in Chief of Phlebology, past President of the European Venous Forum & The Venous Forum at The Royal Society of Medicine . He has been a Hunterian Professor at the RCS, England and is an Emeritius Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Venous Forum. He was the Chairman of the Varicose Vein Guideline Group for the NICE. He is a director of the European College of Phlebology and has co-chaired the ESVS guidelines group on the management of varicose veins. He has also written over 400 peer reviewed manuscripts and runs a large research group.

Where do you see the industry in the next 10 years?
Collaboration to solve some of the difficult treatment paradigms for patients with acute and chronic venous disease.

To listen to key opinion leaders and also to see/meet new younger investigators with novel ideas.
