Dr. Lowell S. Kabnick MD, RPhS, FACS, FACPh, Director of the NYU Vein Center at NYU Langone Medical Center and Immediate Past President of the American Venous Forum, is an internationally recognized vascular surgeon and teacher. Dr. Kabnick limits his practice exclusively to venous diagnosis and treatment and is considered by his peers to be an international authority on the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. Throughout his career, Dr. Kabnick has been at the forefront of new and improved therapies for venous disease, and improving patients’ outcomes and quality of life is the driving force behind his desire to innovate new treatments. Highly sought after as a consultant and teacher by venous societies the world over, Dr. Kabnick has consistently been named one of the area’s “Top Doctors” in publications such as Castle Connolly and America’s Top Surgeons, among many others. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as the American College of Phlebology. Dr. Kabnick serves on the Board of Directors for the InterSocietal Accreditation Commission, IAC Vein Centers, and the Society for Vascular Surgery. He currently serves as President of the American Venous Forum Foundation.

Significantly changed with C2 disease being carved out of insurance reimbursement.
Why are you excited about participating in UIP2018?
I am excited for the opportunity to learn the latest and greatest and reaffirm what I know. It is also a wonderful opportunity to collaborate face to face with the world’s leading phlebologists.
